Karate is an intense discipline that can teach us incredible things about not only martial arts, but life. This is because of the keyword of discipline, which we embody as followers of Karate. We start off our day by cleaning our rooms and making our beds. By doing this, we are following good habits and entering the morning with a productive act. Our room will also calm us down after a long day in the same way that Karate masters need a space to recover after training. Next, we will finish our chores and do them with as much intensity and focus as we can. This is because chores teach our hands and legs to move in coordination with each other. Actions like washing dishes, cleaning windows, or mopping floors are the best for this. This helps our karate skills become more natural and fluid! After that, we will begin our homework and study for tests. This is because we need to be sharp with our mind too. If we are just strong physically, we won’t have the edge over other strong martial artists. Just like the best karate masters, we grow stronger with knowledge. Lastly, we will end the day by exercising. This makes sure our body is resistant and durable for whatever new obstacles we face.
