An allowance can be a nice incentive for children to get work done during the week whether it's picking up toys, helping with laundry, or helping to set the table for a meal. Parents can use an allowance chart for children to easily distinguish which chore each child is asked to complete as well as the amount of the allowance for each chore. Images on the chart include a trash can that's overflowing and a trash bag as an idea that parents could consider when trying to decide which chores to give to children. As each chore is established, it should be done based on the age and capability of each child if there is more than one in the home. A column is designated for writing the date that the chore is completed as well as a total amount for how much the child earned during the week. Teachers can use the chart as well but with play money or other types of rewards as a way to help children stay focused while in the classroom. It could also be a competition during the week to see who can earn the most points in order to get a larger reward.
