Chores for Kids: Help for Parents

Chores for Kids: Help for Parents

Print this chart

Parents sometimes need a way to let children know what chore they have to complete during the week while also keeping everyone organized so that there is no arguing about someone not doing as much work as the others. A chore chart for kids can offer help for parents as they can list the various chores that need to be completed during the week as well as a point system so that children know how many points they can earn once a job is finished. This chart features a set of hands at the bottom washing dishes and images of dishes in a sink on the background. Parents can divide the chart into sections so that each child can clearly see the jobs that are listed. If parents don't want to assign specific jobs, then a list of tasks can be used with initials being put in the boxes for each day of the week so that parents know who did the chores. Points can be totaled at the bottom of the chart with rewards given based on the number of points earned. Some of the chores that can be added include washing dishes, sweeping, vacuuming, and making the beds.
