During the summer, great way to keep your children reading and stay up-to-date with all of the reading skills, is purchasing a reading chart that you can have at home. In this reading chart, you will be able to track down all of your child’s progress and the things that they may be struggling with at the moment. This is definitely something that can help your child progress even more once they return to school because you can show that to their teachers and together you guys can come up with a plan on how to properly help your child out. If you would like to keep your child accountable for his or her reading skills, it is recommended that you have them track down their progress every single day so that they are informed on how much they have been progressing and with these don’t need to work on. The more that you involve your child in this reading chart, the more likely that he will feel more encouraged and be a lot happier with the reading time comes during the day. If your child is not already reading at least 30 minutes every single day, it is important that you start to set up a routine where your child is able to do this daily. The more that they read, the more vocabulary that they are able to learn and the more that they are able to practice your communication skills as well.
