Practice Chart for Sax

Print this chart

If you want your student(s) to be great what you teach on the saxophone, then a practice chart is what's needed in order for your student to become great at it. Whether it would be working on solo repertoire, scales, etudes, or pieces for your specific ensemble, a practice chart can be very helpful for progress as a young musician. It also will keep you organized in what you need to work on and what skills need to be refined. This chart can be used by private lessons teachers, band directors, and even sectional coaches to ensure that students are practicing their instrument on an almost daily basis. There are two options for your very own saxophone practice chart: A weekly and a monthly chart. An incentive-like rewards system can be applied to ensure motivation to your student that he/she will be rewarded for practicing, for example, at least 30 mins a day for 5 days. This will give not only students a reward of a various object, but the reward of excelling on the saxophone as a result of the minutes daily that are placed in practicing the saxophone.
