In a family that has more than one sibling, this chore chart allows for more than one name to be entered and beside the name you may write down the specific chore or task that the child should accomplish daily. When children are young this tool allows them to visualize what it is that is programmed for their week and will help them stay on task. As each chore or task is completed you may either enter a certain amount of points or you may mark a check if you don't wish to use the points as part of the scoring. Sit down with the children to discuss what chores they know need to get done and then add to that if something is missing. This helps kids brainstorm and realize and think about what responsibilities they have to get done on a daily and weekly schedule. Also discuss rewards when weekly tasks are marked as satisfactory. Some kids share rooms and take turns breaking up the different daily routines. Be sure to include both personal care, academic tasks such as homework and also include any pet care of chores that they are to complete. This chore chart will help wonders and gives kids a sense of accomplishment and earned independence.
