As we get ready to go skiing Dad has a lot of things to tell me. Keep your gloves on. Don't take off your helmet. If you fall down you don't want to scramble your brains! Keep your jacket zippered up!. I just want to go skiing. I'm a little nervous. I've never been skiing before. Well,"I'm ready". As we start walking towards the lifts, I notice my boots aren't buckled. "Dad - you forgot to buckle my boots". I guess that's so I can walk. It's still funny walking with Ski Boots. It's sort of a bump-blop on the snow covered ground. Crunch, Crunch, Crunch. The snow even squeaks as I'm walking on it. We make it to the ticket booth. Dad pays for our lift tickets. Sure seems like a lot of money. Good thing I get a student discount. Funny thing, Dad puts this little wire thing on my Jacket zipper and then sticks the ticket onto it. It's stuck on really good. I look around and see some of the older kids with 6 or 7 or more stuck to their jackets. They must come skiing a whole bunch. Dad has his ticket on and I tell him: "Let's Go and have some fun!
