I have been coaching a tennis team for a while now. Although my team is doing great now. I remember a time when they weren't doing so great. When I first started coaching. I had the hardest time keeping the team members from complaining. Every time I would have them run laps. At least one, or two of them would brake down. They would at like they're having a panic attack, or something. This was so they could sit out, and not have to finish their laps. At first I thought I would follow in my old coaches methods, and punish everyone that didn't finish their laps by making them do some kind of other workout. This only had a negative effect, because it made some of the team members quit. So I got online, and started googling ways to keep sport team members motivated. I came across this website called kidpointz.com. The website had these behavior that were free to download. The whole point of these charts was to reward the members of the team that did well, and collect the most points at the end of the month. My reward was $20 for the team member that could do the most laps. I must say it worked like a charm. Not only did the complaining stop, but I had more people wanting to join the team.
